In 1924, the house was expanded to include a large kitchen and dining room. The house is now a museum. This was taken from a bench inside the barn that was in the previous shot. By now, the rain had begun in full force (complete with lightning). We ducked into the barn to wait out the rain, and made our way to the top of the barn and sat on the bench enjoying each other's company and the great view. What a nice break in the day and a wonderful person to share it with! Life is wonderful!
