Interesting comments... I think the St. Louis City Hall building looks fantastic.

I understand this monstrosity won some kind of award. To me, it is the ugliest building in St. Louis...perhaps anywhere. I have been away over 11 years now and it hasn't gotten any lovelier. When I rode the bus to work downtown, I used to avert my eyes when passing City Hall. The Federal Building across the street was much better to see.
