This just started popping up in my lawn recently. I’ve had it a couple other times in the past in different locations but never in this exact location.
If you don’t recognize the grassy weed it’s called yellow nutsedge and can be a nightmare to control if you do it wrong.
1:Never ever EVER pull it, you’ll regret it more than you know. Since I only have a handful of them popping I get on my hands and knees and paint it with a very incredibly strong mixture of 2-4-D, one that would kill anything it touches so I use a Q Tip to apply it apply it on individual stalks.
