This is a very old 12 inch speaker from a 2x12 guitar speaker cabinet. My brother in law gave these to me back in the mid 80s after he upgraded the speakers in his cab. He was a much much better musician than I ever was. I was a wanna be and he was just 1 break away from making it big in the industry.

I had them up in the ceiling of my patio cover connected to my audio system. I replaced them in the early 2000’s for a different type of speaker and just left them up in the ceiling of the cover. After being up there in that environment for almost 40 years time has taken its toll on them. I rediscovered them when I was exploring for the possibility of wood rot in my patio cover (photo of that yet to come.
