I was a dummy! I clicked on the 64 Chevy photo fully expecting it to open up full screen. Even dumber yet I said “huh” when it went back to the Eligible gallery instead of openings. My favorite car I owned back in the day was a 61 Chevy convertible. Thanks for taking me back to a simpler time. Paul

What a great show of vehicles! I would think that this took ooodles of time...it certainly would take me forever to cut and produce this quantity of QUALITY images.

I don't see this as nostalgia...rather a bunch of really great cars...a demonstration of automotive art in design.

When I was there eating lunch, a number of the car owners were sitting near by,
they were commenting on how many of the people there, looking at the cars,
were younger and had brought their families. So even though I thought the
same as you, that when these older guys past away that this kind of thing would go with them,
maybe we're wrong.
like you say, time will tell.

Fun. I see a lot of cars like those during August's Woodward Dream Cruise (perhaps including some of those -- people travel from all over the country to attend). I'm curious how long enthusiasm for 50s and 60s cars continues, as people who enjoyed them when they were young, um, age out.
