This is excellent work and exactly why I missed your entries while you were absent.
I couldn’t camp at all last year because of my foot condition which is much better now so I’m looking forward to going again this year in couple of weeks. Is this in a state or national park? Paul

I didn't have to wait, all I had to do is wake up.
I camped in my van, when I woke up at sunrise, I had dozens of prairie chickens around my van.
I lowered my window and went wild taking photos.
That morning I took over 5000 photos of the chickens and of burrowing owls.
It was a very good morning.
