I took another photo of that particular area, which I am unable to share with you now. I believe the attachment is via coated metal that is supposed to be in there.

I’m glad you showed this wider angle because I see copper pipes in direct contact with galvanized Unistrut channel for pipe support. Unistrut is fantastic product and I’ve installed thousands of feet of it in my career but it has limitations, it should never be used to directly support dissimilar metals like copper. In the presence of moisture (humidity counts) it can and will create galvanic action which will start corrosion and eventually create a pinhole leak. I believe I can see corrosion starting in your photo now. Galvanic corrosion is a slow process but the science of it is real and can’t be ignored, it’s not a matter of if but rather when.

If I were you I’d loosen the supports and insulate the copper pipes from directly touching the strut. How, cut a small thin piece of plastic destined for the recycle bin and place it between the strut and pipe so they don’t directly touch each other. A piece of duct or gorilla tape would also works, even thin cardboard. Id also wipe down the pipe with vinegar to stop any corrosion then wipe the vinegar off with a wet rag and after it dries tighten up the clamps again. The copper plated pipe clamps don’t really concern me since they will not leak.
