It was mostly Canon and Nikon then. Now there are a lot of Sonys, and almost everyone has some sort of phone. There were about 150 passengers on the ship, so I probably have a photo of her face (and maybe her name) somewhere.
Not as cold as you might think, Paul (although polar plunging is always a shocker). It's summer there, and this was at the far north of the peninsula. The thing to watch out for there is katabatic winds. No one is going ashore or out on Zodiacs if there's a known risk of them.
