It depends on the bourbon whether you have it neat or on ice. The really fancy ones, just like with good single malt scotches, should be drunk neat, with maybe just a single drop of water to open up the taste. Decent, but not fancy ones, I like with ice. Maker's Mark, for example, is a decent bourbon that goes well either way.

That is an interesting glass you have Alastair.

Not being a bourbon drinker myself do you sip it room temp or use those polished whiskey stones for a on the rocks drink. Paul

No, just the two feet, and no tail.

Or a tail?

just curious - is there a 3rd foot in back that we can't see?

Thanks Jim,
This wasn't Johnny Walker Black Label. In fact, it wasn't even alcohol. I agree that I wouldn't drink Black Label with ice.

Unique glass for sure, and a super fit to the contents and title. Nicely done.

BUT - I have some Johnny Walker Black Label. I have never let it be touched by an ice cube; never mind 3 or 4.

If you want ice, I have some other varieties.
