I am back in Minnesota for a couple of weeks. One thing I enjoy immensely is visiting a local Farmers Market. Each of the towns and suburbs has one, generally varying by day of the week. The twin cities are also home to a large number of Hmong , many of whom were farmers in their native Thailand. They have taken advantage of the mN rich topsoil. These farmers tend to dominate the local markets.
For me, I enjoy walking a market. Today, we walked around the Richfield market with my daughter. She has her favorite stalls to find her corn and other vegetables. Today, I had my camera out trying to capture the color, shapes, and textures of the various produce. Tomorrow, she will go to a neighboring suburb to buy some more fresh produce. AHH, Summer!!
