03 Allergy Season for Some

Here in south east Arizona, springtime brings out the allergies. For we transplants, Mesquite pollen often hits us hard. The Mesquite are in full bloom now, and so are my sinuses.

Our air quality was 70 yesterday when I checked and is now 93. We had a beautiful orange moon last night, which I stayed up a few minutes late to photograph.

I'm laughing between sneezes. Our air quality has been unhealthy due to smoke from wildfires. My understanding is that there is nothing one can take for it. Keeping things in perspective, we have it a lot easier than the people who live and farm where the fires are occurring.

I take the generic Claritin pills (Kirkland) I get from Costco at a tremendous discount every day all year long. I once mentioned to the doc I wasn’t sure they were working for me any longer, doc said stop taking them for a week or so to see if I still feel that way. Seems as though I was wrong. Paul

I can relate. Due to a stuffed head I have been sleeping with my mouth open - which then dries me out. I then need water by my bedside.

Oddly maybe, but thank you for this...I had great trouble going to sleep last evening because I couldn't breath through my nose...very unhappy situation...You have helped my understanding. Traveller
