09 Three

This is my daughter’s cat, it has an unusual Asian name I never remember or do well at pronouncing so I call him three. He was dumped as a kitten and my daughter found him with a massive hind leg injury so she took him to a vet but they couldn’t save the leg and amputated it. She took him in and he’s done well with only 3 legs.

The book which I've not read (google is my friend) is Cat’s Eye but has nothing to do with a cat rather a cats eye marble.

Nice portrait.

When I grew up, the neighborhood (out in the country) had a dog, mostly dalmation, that was missing a front leg. He "hopped" around the neighborhood looking for kids to be with and play with. WHile I can't remember his name, I remember the huge front chest he had built up.

Oh, there are hundreds and hundreds of cat's book title...but I will just grant you that this is a very, very handsome cat!

More to the point, this cat's story is very interesting and maybe deserves a novel of his own. For my own personal knowledge...how much and in what year did it cost to amputate a cat's leg? (I find the cat's history to be fascinating).
