Paul, their tree is filled with almost all meaningful family ornaments, many made by the kids.
As for the star burst, it is real, not added. The source is a nearby bright bulb hanging on the tree. I had to align the phone just right to get it. I had added a protective glass cover over the lenses, and I think that plays a major role in the starburst I see. I enhanced what you see by adding a slight vignette to the shot.
Although I remember the “terrible twos” all too well but it is such a special & challenging time as a parent. And has a very special tree ornament to commemorate it.
Is that added starburst effect or a natural occurrence with the Pixel, I know my iPhone certainly is susceptible to glare. In fact I photographed a potential entry yesterday morning that also shows the effect of glare I’ve been considering entering. Just not sure if I like it well enough yet. Paul
