I'm not exactly sure what this is supposed to be (it's in the front yard of some neighbors). The goggles and mustache make me think of an old-time aviator.

I never used a pocket protector ; I probably ruined a shirt pocket or two. I still have my old K&E scientific slide rule in my office. I remember that buying it in 1963 was quite expensive. I treasured it until the first TI calculators became available. Jim

How about a pocket protector and side rule… bet you still have your slide rule around. I had one that my dad gave me when I started electrical trade school but I never really learned how to use it. It eventually broke and I tossed it. These days it’s faster & simpler to open a voltage drop calculator app and you’re done. Paul

We never wore white shirts - white lab coats, yes. Goggles? Sometimes, I suppose. The shirt could be a fill in for a lab coat, of which there aren't many. My own guess - it was what was in the "rag drawer" of the closet. Jim

I’m thinking it’s a person in the science field with the white shirt and goggles. Setting up an experiment to see if the results match the hypotheses. If it had a pocket protector, pens and a slide rule it would be no doubt. Paul
