At Least Four Pollinators on the Desert Broom

Madera Canyon, AZ

This is a male desert broom in a full bloom of yellow flowers. There are four easy to see pollinators, and there is a small fly by the beetle on the right. The female desert broom is just about to bloom with white flowers and is nearby.

T - This is quite good. I can work well within its limitations.
I call it my walk around lens because of its small size and its 16-300 mm range.
It is not as sharp as my high end Canon lenses, but a short run through Topaz Sharpen AI and you can hardly tell the difference.
It also doesn't focus as quickly as my Canons, esp with low contrast subjects in dimmer light and at 200-300 mm settings.

However, I won't trade it in, and I will keep shooting it a lot.

I am somewhat surprised by the results you are getting with your Tamron 16-300 mm...I have never owned off brand lenses, but this one seems very good. You love it? Traveller
