I really like Alain's Statement.
In part it reads
...A Fine Art Photograph, is an image that is both artistically inspired and technically excellent. Just one or the other is not enough. Technique without art is cold and uninviting, while art without good technique prevents the viewer from truly enjoying the work.

To satisfy my creativity I need to work on my photographs after I complete the image capture...Similarly, I adjust contrast so that it reflects the feeling of open, glowing light or of deep, mysterious shadows, according to my memories of the original scene.
.. my goal is to create an image that is believable, an image of something that one can consider to be possible, even though one could not quite find this exact same image in nature.

T - Thank you for the thoughts. I am enjoying the road of learning that I am on. Turning a journalistic photo into ART is not easy, at least for me.
There is a fellow who teaches fine art photography, specializing in the landscapes in the four corners area. I have been tempted to take a class from him.
We just passed through that area on our way back home, and I took some nice shots of the Canyon De Chelly. I may try working on one or two later this week.

You really have taken my suggestions to heart. I am not sure this is my favorite image, but it is a very good start on a rich road ahead of you for work in this area of Art.

Having seen the above, please understand that I love your A Woodsy Tavern, but this shows real promise....not a criticism!!!!!!! Best Wishes, Traveller
