Yes, formally know as Mt San Antonio, locally always know as Mt Baldy.

I have posted from Mt Baldy several times....but like last year, see this year and she was very pretty

and from the article also

On 4 February, the same day Huang disappeared, a group of three hikers ran into trouble while attempting to scale the mountain. They were unable to find the trail due to “significant snowfall” and required rescue, the Sierra Madre search and rescue team said in a statement. The hikers, who were “well-equipped with appropriate gear for conditions”, had to stay overnight before they could be assisted the following morning.

Those blasted tree roots are alway thirsty and causing trouble. These days they have a few options for no trench sewer line repair/replacement. Expensive but less hassle and might be worth looking into.
Is that Mt Antonio in the background? Paul

The wall you see on the right is a sound wall and protects railroad tracks that, with a Federal Grant, were placed 30(?) feet below grade. Great for the Railroads because they can sail on through....though as a child, in a neighboring city, I used to lie in bed and loved the sound of the train horns and clacking of the RR tracks. (Incidentally, that city refused the federal money and it is a great problem now for them...30 years later).

Be that as it may, I still live on the wrong side of the tracks...lol...but it is nice enough, tree lined, (hard on my sewer hook up maybe), once lower middle class housing, some apartments, now more expensive and gentrified. Best Wishes, Traveller (yet, not as nice as the houses I see on your street...grin)

That’s a spectacular scene to regularly view. What is the view like after you turn left on to the home stretch? Paul
