08 Rubber Meets The Road

Will this remind Dave of a song, yes I believe it will.
16000 miles and I rotate every oil change roughly 3500 to 4000 miles. I change at those intervals since I drive mostly short trips and my engine style has a tendency suffer fuel blow by.

Thanks for the link. I'm familiar with Mr. Loaf but not that song. I have a whole suite of road tunes. I'll give that a listen and maybe add it.

Rubber meets the road? No. But you do have me humming "King of the Road" and "Hot Rod Lincoln" (Ford never did take my suggestion to use that for an ad).

A retired tire builder? There's symmetry in the way that sounds. And I thought tyres were found primarily east of the Atlantic Ocean,

I have a couple of large tires from a couple of years ago that I took at a local copper mine. He may have made them.

Before he retired my brother in-law was a tire builder at Goodyear in Topeka Ks. He built the big tires, big as in the huge earth movers. Maybe I should have him jump in and judge the tyre challenge. Paul 🛞
