I am learning that life is too short and is too unpredictable.
I would strongly encourage you to get yourself to London and visit with her.
She obviously means something to you, if nothing more than a strong friend.
A few years is too long between visits.

Oh Dana was/is always a cutie, but we've been divorced now for more than 20 years. She wouldn't believe this were this to come up in conversation, yet it is true. I have seen her from time to time and she does call with great frequency...(she would like to be re-married...it is an on going joke between us, but I haven't seen her since just before Covid....)

Be that as it may, I don't often take calls while in bed, but I saw all these rectangles in the dark...so I angled the camera out of view, (after several shots), and voila`...an honest slice of life image! Best Wishes, Traveller
