He was pretty impressive. I took a bunch in a sequence. I liked the way the light reflected off the one closest to his face on this one.

My almost 6 year old Garmin watch has contactless pay but I don't use it, same with my phone! Once every place you go offers it then I might reconsider but too many places are swipe or chip read only so you can’t depend on being able to use it. In my business I offered CC payment and had swipe and chip card readers but not contactless, too big, bulky and hassle. Paul

He certainly gave the impression that this was his only source of income. He had a pretty big crowd watching him, and a lot of us put bills in his tip jar (including some 20's). he also had a Venmo QR code on a laminated card. I was tempted to use that, just because I like to feel like I'm living in the future. I use my phone to pay whenever I can, rather than my credit card (even though the phone just hooks up to the same account as the card), because it feels futuristic. I just got a new Garmin smart running watch, which can also do the paying thing, but my credit cards are not yet set up to work with Garmin pay. All I need now is my flying car. Alastair

I’ve often wondered if the performers that do these street shows for tips have day jobs, it seems impossible to make a living doing this as one’s only source of income. Paul
