My favorite of the scales photos too. It has a slight similarity to a scene I see in every episode of “Audit The Audit” on YouTube. A channel that looks at and discusses interactions with bad cops. Only problem with the channel is I’m starting to become anti police and that’s not what I want. Paul

This one for me as well. I like the scales' shadow and the richer color. Nicely conceived and executed.

I also like the angle of the scale better. And yes, the extended shadows lead to a classic "rule of thirds" composition.

Re multiple shots - exactly. But that is also following the advice of Joel Satori of Nat Geo who preaches "Work the scene."

Me too, especially for the shadows going to right side of the frame. I'll move the other soon. I had trouble getting a good focus actually, the camera kept reverting to the background....maybe naturally enough.

This is the problem with any set shot....you end up with lots of frames, and which do you like better?

Truth be know, this started out as a Marco shot of my Multi-Colored bedroom rug....lol

For reasons I can't fully explain, I like this first one better than the second.
