I was probably at ~5400 ft, and the Mt Wrightson peak is at 9,400 ft.

I agree with Trav 100% but can’t stop wondering how great this scene might look covered with 5 to 6 inches of fresh fluffy snow. Paul

This is certainly the best actual Physical Path image submitted so far. I like the rock overhang too....but this is great. Traveller

Paul, Yes - that is Mt Wrightson in the background. You can get to the top of Wrightson from where I am standing - you just walk to the end of the Nature Trail, and then transfer to the Mt Baldy Trail. Probably a 5-6 hr hike from here. The Nature Trail is rated "Easy", and as you climb up Wrightson, the trail difficulty gets harder. Jim
