T I’m sure you were referring to Alastair since my wife is exactly opposite of Alastair’s better half’s, she starts with a very conservative pour then makes micro adjustments from there. Now that I think back a few weeks she was making a drink of some sorts with vodka and way over poured the booze first, it was most potent and a drink that would make make my long dead (of liver disease) uncle Jerry very proud. Dear Paul, I admire your wife's methods...they exactly mirror mine! Pour until there is about enough, and, if it is a little strong, smile and admit that you make an exceedingly fine drink,(secure in the thought that the ice will eventually melt enough to save you...lol) Traveller

Traveller, it sounds like you mix your gin and tonic (and grenadine) the way my wife does. I always measure with a cocktail jigger, but she pours until she thinks there's enough. Getting quite drunk on one drink isn't uncommon at our house, when she mixes the drinks. I like to go a bit easier on the gin, so I can justify having a glass of wine as well. :) Alastair

People keep giving me good (?) wine as presents...but I am not much of a wine person. Of late, I have been try to have a gin and tonic in the evening or, what I have invented and call a Bloody Tonic, Vodka, diet Tonic Water, (with quine of course,) and Grenadine (which is red fructose syrup)...but what surprises me is...how very easily I get drunk on one drink and I wonder why Alcohol is not regulated up there like heroin? I mean Alcohol is strong stuff! (to me). It is not like I am a bad drunk...I just want to go to sleep...lol. Like now, I am reviewing a church, pre-school lease that needs to be done by Sunday morning...but one drink in...I am drunk. (grin...sort of) Back to work. Traveller (my drinks are tasty...yum)

I needed to find a way to work in “Hope” so the inept angle seemed a natural choice. The color of the wine is pushed but only very slightly, it’s a naturally deep red wine on its own. Menage a Trois Silk Red wine blend, very smooth and even my wife likes it… a little anyways. Paul

This is more interesting and impressive than you think....if I look at this at an odd angle, this almost seems vampire.ish....maybe like it is blood...then I remember that this is showing the viscosity of wine...and it is still very interesting. Best Wishes, Traveller
