A 16 shot average of the flowing water

northern MN

Nothing very fancy here. 16 hand held shots, then a simple average. A Median blend sometimes works quite well.

I'm in the same boat. The surroundings (I like the wet rocks) look better than the water.

I photographed a waterfall in Madagascar's Mantadia National Park and tried a lot of different settings (no stacking, averaging, blending, etc.). My favorite result, posted here, was at 1/20 sec.

Guest - I agree with you, and that is why my shot in eligible is not done this way.

The waterfall looks too blurred for my tastes. I do like the almost chocolaty water in the foreground, though.
