Quail Creek, AZ

We have quite of few of these in the area. But finding a good set to shoot against a nice background proved to be a challenge.

Here in the desert, we have 2 summers - a hot dry one, and a warm monsoon summer.
We are in the monsoons now, and it is warm and humid - temps in the mid 90s and dew points in the mid 60s.

I could be wrong in this situation but my desert experiences were not humid sticky, rather plenty hot and dry. You know “it’s a dry heat so it’s not as bad as the thermometer says”. Yea right! Paul

I admire the true to life colors in the late afternoon, against the Cumulus clouds, I can almost feel the semi-sticky humidity....the image conveys a reality. Traveller

Reminds me of the "big W" in the movie, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World".
