Thanks. My friend who gave me the red wool socks grew up on a farm. His sister was in 4H and raised sheep that were used for their church's live nativity scene. Along the way they inherited a burro (but not a camel) that outlived the sheep and was quite a character. Fun how there can be connections between images and topics.
I like the night scene best, nice work even if it was “easy”. A prime reason why I traded down to cell phone camera photography.
I’m feeling pretty dumb at the moment and don’t believe I’ve heard the phrase crèche before. I only recall them referred to as a nativity scene. Made me feel even dumber as I googled it. Can’t blame that one on my brain fog.
And speaking of nativity scenes the Agricultural Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs Ks was using live animals at their scene one night and the camel had enough of it and decided to go on a walkabout and see the town. Paul
I liked the daylight one because you could see all the work that went into the set-up... but this is just better, all their work was well rewarded to good effect. Thanks for shooting this....Traveller
