You should see the air supply and exhaust pipes; they travel about twenty feet through our garage. Installation took the better part of a day. So far so good on performance. I haven't tried to measure any savings.
I assume the valves are hidden behind the cover or out-of-view at bottom. The unit does receive annual maintenance. How much water do you save by shutting it off if you have a low-flow shower head? There is a "cool spike" which I'm told is a lot less dramatic than previous models. Shouldn't bother a polar plunger like you much.
High tech is right! I don’t see maintenance flush valves, are they integrated inside the unit? Needs to be done annually to maintain the unit.
Im on the fence if I would consider one of these. I tend to shut off the water in the shower when I’m soaping up and tankless heaters have a weakness in that respect, they send a cold slug of water for non continuous water flows. Or…. have they solved that issue. ? Paul
I actually want one of these...very nice, and very nice copper work whoever sweated those joints. Very much a technologically inspired image. Traveller
