Five plants in two large pot produced plenty. I used to think heat was good for growing tomatoes but learned they ripen better at more comfortable temperatures. Fertilizing also helps, as does being vigilant about pests.
My daughter in MN grows these in her garden. Two plants give her more than the two of them can eat, as she has 4 other plants for large tomatoes. Last year was a poor harvest, this year she has tons.
I brought a lot back when we returned from our last visit.
As for me, I just think our sun is too hot here. Despite daily watering, they have cracked, and are somewhat dry to eat.

Looks like Dave waited too long to harvest one of them.
Jim maybe you just don’t have the Dave touch! That said I never had much luck with them either so that means Dave is the only real mini tomato grower among us. Paul
