We took our son and his live in girlfriend to lunch for their birthdays which are just a few days apart.
I took this before I knew what the new challenge was gonna be but as you know if there is going to be someone who is going to push the limits of the rules it’s me. Paul

The only thing I like less than bills with suggested tips is when gratuity is automatically added based on the number of people. I was once the guest of a friend's family, and when the bill came with gratuity included, my friend's father demanded separate checks. He paid all of them without adding anything, and then handed the server a $50 bill (this was over forty years ago, so that was a significant amount).

I am not what one calls a big tipper nor am I a cheapskate. I usually do 10 to 15 % depending… this receipt was preprinted with a suggested 18, 20 and 22% amounts. Paul

I had the pulled pork, wife, Paula had a combo pork and turkey, son Mark had ribs (damm they were huge) and Thanh I believe also had pulled pork. As you would expect fries came with everything and son had a additional side of the cheesy corn. Bill came to 80 bucks and I gave an additional 10 as a tip, not the 18% starting suggestion printed on the receipt.

I enjoyed good eats back when I visited KC on business. That was back in 1995, so much has likely changed.

One sign that a restaurant has great BBQ food is the amount of locations they have around the city. Jacks Stack is about to open their 6th location in the KC metro area which is a little over 2 million people. They also have a catering location and another site that ships BBQ nation wide. They are one of if not the premier BBQ restaurants in the area.

When Traveler reads this he’ll say 2,000,000… pfffft, we have that many people in a 10 block area and fall over from laughing so hard. Of course there is the matter that when he tries to get up he’ll realize he broke his hip and has to push his Life Alert button and have to say “help I’ve fallen and can’t get up”. C Everett… is that you?
