Traveller - like a lot of the southwest, the cites are built out, not up. Sedona city limits are quite extensive; about 19 sq miles for 10,000 people. When you drive through Sedona you won't find a "city center", and all the buildings appear to be 2 stories or less. All are in muted colors.

Really nice, Jim. Actually a little disorienting...which is good, what you wanted to convey. Of course, is that city? It looks like a little outpost standing alone...but maybe it is part of a larger encroachment. Regardless...impressive. Traveller
