This is a buffet that I purchased in Shanghai in 1984 and had shipped home to MN.
The dollar was very strong in those days, and it cost me more to ship it home than it did to purchase it. As I recall, it went by ship to Hong Kong, then transferred and shipped to San Francisco.

Paul - the real art is in the inlaid stone - a set of jade and mother of pearl figures. I suppose i could do a close up of some of them. Jim

I follow your line of thinking with this entry. And the original artwork was no doubt hand painted by a true artist, not some guy using software on a computer. Paul
