Nashua River, Pepperell, Massachusetts

This is taken looking up the Nashua River from just of the small hydroelectric dam in East Pepperell. After 2 days of rain, the river is almost (but not quite) up to its normal Spring level.

Nice....nice using the trick of blocking out the sun also...there are meaningful views everywhere...Traveller

I was shooting straight into the sun and using the trunk of the tree to block the sun so I was a little limited. Another time of day might have provided an interesting shot from a bit more to the right. The buildings look much better in black and white than they do in color; they would be no loss in a color picture. aglake

Very nice with the natural framing. Did you take any shots when moving to the right a couple of feet? Though you lose the far buildings that way. Jim
