This is exactly what I wanted...the depth of field, the almost loneliness of this prosthetic eye against the white working paper with its own textures...the artist that helps people who's faces are ravaged by time...I hope appreciates this, because it is me making my art from his art...there is little photoshopping here...some healing brush clean up, a little dodging the eye itself.
For me this makes the statement I wished to make...I have other frames from this shoot of course, but they don't work in the artistic sense I needed....interestingly, to me, even a slight crop of this specific frame, doesn't work...I've tried, but no...this is what I wanted to say or how I wanted to impact the viewer.
