As you probably know, those RVs come in all different sizes and price ranges.
Some of the folks around here have some monsters, though they live in them for months at a time. Others have smaller ones for just the 1-2 week trips they take.
Not for us; though.

I have a BSA friend who did exactly that. They sold their home and most of their possessions, bought a Ford F250 and good size pull behind trailer and have been nomads travelling across the USA for about 3 years now and they still enjoy the lifestyle. He posts on Facebook regularly where they are, what they are doing and where they are off to next.

Story was interesting.

Re new truck and retirement - are you thinking about a RV 5th wheel to pull?
I see a lot of those down here.

Paul wants a truck. As soon as I retire I am tired of driving plain basic white service trucks. 42 years worth and my plan is to get a 3/4 size truck and since I'm a Ford guy I favor the Ford Ranger but I'm not locked into one just yet. Chevy/GMC.... maybe, Dodge doesn't make one that I know of and I'm not buying a import of any kind.

A funny story is when I was a young electrician working for another electrical contractor he bought a old retired Oro Wheat bread delivery truck and we turned it into a job truck. Since we left it on on my 25 home closed job site as a supply trailer one night it was stolen.

Boss was pissed but it wasn't my fault since I locked it and it was broken into and hot wired. A few months later I saw it in Kansas City Kansas and reported it to my boss. He told me to forget what I saw because insurance had already paid for the truck and inventory loss. Now that I read what I just said it's neither funny or interesting.

Thanks. I'm curious who wants a truck. I was on the lookout for one to shoot yesterday, and imagine finding lyrics shouldn't be too challenging. Might have to wander over to country music, though.

This was shot just after crossing through Southern Ontario. The weather there wasn't too bad, but the night before featured some very difficult driving in Central New York. She was a good partner through it all.

I like the low angle of view, (and the vehicle of course)...but I add that there is nothing wrong with...man.car love....it is normal and appropriate and has been rampant since the early 20th Century! Get over it...lol

Yes, that's the song.

I really don't think of it as a sports car, Jim. More of an all-weather sports sedan.
Sports cars should have two doors and two seats. Stay tuned. I'm working on it.

I used to dream of owning a high end sports car.
Never happened.
