Hi Dave and Jim: Here are some thoughts, though please feel free to add your own musings on this....or point out the error of my ways if you wish...this is kind of free thinking zone:

1. I don't think there will be enough voters to actually choose a winner in any real sense of the word....so maybe a rotating kind of Challenge? Or,

2. Though I have Flickr and Pbase accounts, I actually use here to kind of park things...but I mean this in the best possible way. I wouldn't want to embarrass myself with my postings....but this certainly allows me the freedom to post...but casual and maybe good things that I don't know are...as good as they are.

3. I went back though the old galleries last night...back to 2005 when I joined...and what I do doesn't or hasn't changed that much...

4. Probably unlike most people, photography is an unusually important factor in my life...it is...often and largely how I interface with the wider world...so, I'll keep doing this regardless....but sharing and learning are important also.

5. Maybe this could be like an Open Mic night for everyone....not so much a Challenge as a venue....maybe this could attract people.

6. In each Challenge we could better explain how to upload to Pbase....it is so damned easy I am still a bit shocked that people have difficulty with this, (but not explaining it well enough is on us)

7. I am shocked that people don't seem to know how to resize their images a little...i mean, how lazy are they or, don't they just teach this in Kindergarten any more?!?

Wish us luck, or, we could just roll this puppy up and put it to bed.
