“Look to the bees and follow.”

Another bee shot.

The title is the Booth family motto, devised by Henry Gough Booth.

Continuing, “the bee seeks out the beautiful, receives the sweet and nourishing, and works energetically to produce enough to share with others.”

I'm looking forward to enjoying those raspberries.
Another special annual event.

I don't think DPP is - it only does global modifications.
But maybe it is time for you to think about trying something new.

I don’t know whether DPP is capable of modifying only portions of an image.

My thought was to find a way to make the bee "pop" a bit more out of the photo.
Personally, I'd try to darken the greens (a little) and perhaps lower their saturation a bit.
Then I'd do the reverse on the bee; though the bee doesn't appear to need to be brightened. I'd just take the saturation/vibrance up on the bee just a little bit.

I thought the bee had a nice, natural look in this, the original.

The greens got bumped; probably more vibrance than real saturation.
The bee gains a bit.

Not sure DPP will let me isolate the bee. Adding more saturation to the entire image did nothing for the greens. Alternate image in Pending: https://pbase.com/image/169660425

Really nice capture.
Re saturation (or vibrance) - I'd work on the bee first, as I think the greens are ok now.
And yes Dave, a bit of post processing might stick to your fingers.

this is really excellent...discuss more later. T

Thanks. That sounds dangerously close to post-processing. There's a button/slider somewhere in DPP, right?

Hey, this is your best yet! Nice capture. maybe a little more color through saturation? Traveller
