Havana Cuba Cemetery

One of the stops on the Top 10 Havana excursion.
The tour guide said the little chapel inside this massive cemetery hold 80 funerals a day.
Fidel is not buried here.

The Cuban people are such simple folks and live in such a way that we can't even comprehend. I gave the tour guide a 10 dollar tip and the driver 5. That is about half of what they will make in a month via the government wage. You give them a dollar and they think they have hit the jackpot. I had a young boy come up to me begging for a coin, any coin. He didn't score off me but he was that desperate to even try. Another adult wanted me to hand him my phone so he could take a photo of us in front of a church for a dollar. Um no I'm not that dumb buddy, no way am I giving you my phone! Paul

I can't resist adding to the political. Cuba as a US ally would greatly enhance the region. Both sides need to move, and executed properly, both will reap benefits.

Evocative WOW I like that. I heard and read about the Trump administration putting a halt to the People to People educational program that Obama started. In fact if I didn’t know better Trumps primary goal appears to be to undo as much as possible that Bama started. I can’t stand that guy. Paul

The Apple XR, I never travel with a DSLR, just laziness! I used the free version of Lightroom on my iPad for simple editing and it always strips out the EXIF. I don’t know why maybe I have a setting wrong in it..... Ah I stopped and looked I did have a switch off, I’ll replace this photo and see if the EXIF magically appears now. Paul

In Havana the old cars (Taxi's) are everywhere. It's my understanding that most of them are owned by the Cuban government. I did notice there are quite a few that are not in very good shape, lots of rust on them and a few that didn't sound right and one that sounded down right terrible, a old bucket of rusty bolts as one might say.
