Drone over Fort Huachuca

Fort Huachuca, Arizona

I didn't know before my visit that the Army started developing and flying drones at Fort Huachuca in 1953. They have used the vast landscape, clear skies, and controlled airspace to develop and train personnel on drones. This is a RQ-7A Shadow 200 surveillance drone currently in service.

Yup, I totally missed "composite image". Not sure I would have fathomed its meaning if I had spotted it, either. As for remarks (also comments), I'm the one whose not very effective. Auto correct/complete is a whole 'nother subject.

I have a auto correct error in my earlier comment, it was supposed to be Remask not remark. I was just trying to say I’m not very effective at using remask. Paul

Re fine print - yes, but it is in the section called tech notes where I thought it belonged.

Easy to miss fine print.

I will say you have a very good handle on using Topaz remark. I don’t. Paul

Edit - a bit of curves on the drone.

The only Topaz work was with Detail for the sharpening and Topaz Remask for the extraction of the drone. The drone was taken with a flash and then WB corrected.

It does look like it has a touch of Topaz work done to it and naturally I’m a fan of Topaz products. I’ll suggest that it might be a composite but I enjoy it no matter what the PP work it has on it. Paul

Dave. Thanks. Under the small notes I had written "composite image". The drone was shot in their museum. The background is from a hill overlooking the Fort & Army base. I wanted to convey the wide open space they have to fly these things. The airspace in this area is restricted.

Beautiful. Looks more like a painting than a photo. I'm surprised you were able to get that close to where the drone was flying so low and wonder whether there isn't a story here.
