I was so looking forward to LAX's new international terminal (TBIT?). While attractive, however, it doesn't work any better than the old one. Still, it has been a gateway to memorable places.

Cargo planes generally don't have windows.
China has really been flexing its muscles.

I really like the blue against the blue.
The black separator line stands out.

Dave: LAX, I kind of presumed it was a cargo plane...but probably not...see below (something I am unhappy about...but so what?)

"Several European airlines have or had the added 'Asia' name, such as British Asia Airways, Air France Asia and KLM Asia. The reason is that it enables them to fly to both the China mainland (such as Beijing) and always to fly to Taiwan (such as Taipei). In effect, the added 'Asia' titles renders it a different airline. If this did not exist, the airlines could not fly to both the China mainland and Taiwan."

Beijing has been strong arming the airlines re Taiwan...big time.

I don't recall seeing "KLM Asia" before. At what airport was this taken, and what was her origin or destination?
