No outing intended. Credit to you for putting in the effort to find real fakes. I'll admit I'm the opposite (at least in some ways), going for the real thing. I like having a few mechanical watches. One has its movement visible from the bottom, and I love watching it. These watches, however, are usually worn under sleeves, hidden from the view of others. They're for me, not for them. Maybe I'll try a photo someday. I imagine proper lighting will be a key.

What we really found out is you do have a creative and artistic side to you. Great job, I’ll be voting on this one. Paul

Alas, I am found out!

I am with friends, I presume?

To a degree, we are, what we want to be...we pull ourselves into a future of self creation...

I am obviously somewhat of a vain man...I like to look competent, well dressed, with a hint of being wealthy and a certain swagger...I am probably none of these things.

Alas!

Just a struggling to be alive old man....

Be that as it may, all of these watches are fake in the traditional sense. However, all of these watches work, they keep time, they function flawlessly, (unlike my single expensive automatic watch...that never stays wound up, that on occasion sucks up water like a sponge, that seldom tells me the truth), each of these watches are quartz, battery operated, wonderfully lovely and functional, in the real sense, time keeping machines.

What people don't understand is just how really difficult it is to find and buy a real fake quartz watch that will, because it is quartz, keep time flawlessly always and without exception, whether you are wearing it or not. Everybody wants, and the market is flooded with fake, and soon to not be working, automatic watches that purport to be time pieces but are actually only piles of pretty stainless steel.

Me?

I maybe like to think of myself as being like my watches...I just work, I just keep functioning, I do what I do well...without fail.

Yes, there's some fakery in my prettiness, some pretense in my surface appearance, but, deep down, without fail, I am trustworthy, I am honest, I do perform my essential functions well.

At this stage of my life, this is enough, more than enough.

Yes, I am a fake, a momentary blip on this seemingly endless canvas of our Universe, but then, aren’t we all?

Best Wishes, Traveller

This is very well done, and nicely presented with a great commentary.

Real cool effect, I seriously like it and like Dave said nice collection! Are you or were you a pilot? Paul

Lesse, two or three Rolexes, a Breitling, a TAG Heuer, and a Chopard?

I hope you wear them often and have a safe place for storage. Do you use an automatic winder?

I like shiny timekeeping things, too.

This is not the half of it...lol...I just bought the blue diving watch today...I have too many kind of dressy watches...I need something I can be rugged with. Traveller
