Let me out!

We are blessed with an abundance of critters.
My intent was to capture chipmunks, but instead
this feisty red squirrel tripped the trap.
He (or she?) was released moments later.

My battles are mostly with the deer, groundhogs/woodchucks, and woodpeckers.
Oh, and moles. Chipmunks are cute, but I don't like where they dig their holes.
This year rabbits have been causing a lot of damage. I really don't want to put up a fence

A great title for a fine shot, or should I say "Capture".
When I see this, I can only think back to all the squirrels I have done battle with - and all the details of the battles.

Thanks. A very active prisoner (caught because of its own curiosity, as there was no bait in the trap), so I shot using live view continuous. Interesting "all fives" parameters.

Perfect timing of a great shot, the paws sticking thru the cage is fantastic.
Around my house when squirrels start doing damage I get payback in a little less humane way, BB rifle. But only when they start doing damage and other detergents fail. I think I liquidated the ring leader and trainer two seasons back, since he’s been gone no further gnawing on the 3 homes right around me. Paul

This is a great picture of...a prisoner of conscience! "Why am I here?!? I'm innocent..."

Seriously, very clean, good to excellent pose...fine capture (?) by you...lol
