Over in Pending I shot the same scene this morning but using the canon nifty 50. Clearly softer at 1.8 but lighting is the same. Paul

Oooo “light my fire” I think I like that and will give it serious consideration. As far as the background goes it’s a strand of LED Christmas tree lights draped over a studio background stand I have. Then I placed a sheet of velum in front of it to disfuse and soften it. There isn’t any photoshop work, only resizing. I did have 2 CTO gels over the 580 flash set to 1/64+1. Pretty much right from the camera. Paul

How about "Light My Fire"? Best I could come up with on short notice. The background reminds me of stained glass, which I love but rarely photograph. Dave

I agree but at the moment I’m drawing a blank. Dementia starting already. I may re title it to something generic until I come up with something more appropriate. Paul
