Thanks for the comments Jim and Paul. And... Actually, Paul, I have done that before here. Then I found out where I accessed it was private property (4 houses sharing a paved driveway kinda threw me off). But the owner I talked to wanted to look at my pictures after I processed them so I gave him my website info so he could have a look at them. This was a few years back. But the shots I got with a DSLR were amazing. It was quite the trek getting down there but when I got there the river was not flowing much but in a couple spots off to the other bank so I was able to walk out onto the ricks in the middle and get some amazing ground level shots. I'll have to look for them. ~Phydoux

I also quite like this scene and it makes me want to go down in the middle of the river on the rocks with a camera and tripod and shoot away. Fall colors would be a huge bonus. Paul
