Blacksmith Betty

Mahaffie Farmstead Olathe KS

Sunday was grandparents day at the Mahaffie House, a local stage coach stop on the Oregon and California trail. They were re-enacting life in the 1860's and Betty was the blacksmith for the day. I also got to ride shotgun on the stagecoach on the trail. Fun!!

Yes, this is fabulous, Paul nailed it...and with lots of patterns! However, what I find interesting is that all of these patterns are man made...whatever that may mean... Traveller
