Jim, it's a different kind of place and it costs nothing to go in and walk/look around.
If you like to do close up pics, then you can single out say a hood ornament on a old car.
If you do a wider shot, better photoshop skills will come in handy.

I just looked at their Facebook page. They should pay you for use of some of your photos. Theirs are pretty basic.

Dave, When I am in MN, I am in Apple Valley, just north of Lakeville. I never heard of Hot Sam's.

This place is called "Hot Sam's Antiques" it's in Lakeville Minnesota.
They sell antiques and have 10 acres of stuff for you to take photos of.
The real name is Hot Sam's Antiques and Foto Park.
There are train cars, circus wagons, old, and I mean old junked cars, space ships, metal art, the water tank from Hooterville,
all kinds of weird stuff.
We were there for a half an hour taking photos, then a woman came up and tells us that the cost $10 to shoot with a phone,
$25 to shoot with a camera.
There are many signs that say to "check in" My wife and brother-in-law went in,
no one there for about 15 minutes, so we just started shooting. No signage that there's a fee to take pictures.
Lets just say I got a little irritated finding out that it's a pay site after the fact.
She kind of gave us a free ride for the time we were there, and although it was a kind of cool
place to shoot. I don't think it's worth $25 to take pictures of junk.
But then again, I'm a cheap S.O.B.
If you're on Facebook, they have a page that shows a little more of the place.

The secret was supposedly in the sauce.

Dear Dave:

Where was this taken? I presume that someone is living here....the tires appear flat, almost embedded in the ground....

So I am curious, where are these lucky people living?

Best Wishes, Traveller
