Jim 005

I was out yesterday shooting the local women's Putters Invitational. One of the trick holes involved using a croquet mallet for the putter.

That is so much better. I didn't. Think the blur was necessary anyway since the main focal points stand on thier own anyway. I'd call this one " Line Er Up" Paul

Paul - thanks. Here is a quick fix. Instead of masking the grass, I masked the sharpening in on the pants so I didn't need to blur the grass. I should have done that the first time.

Paul,
There was only the one mallet that each team had to use on the one special hole.

Re blur mask - yes I see it now. This was a "quick and dirty" attempt using the local tool in Lightroom. I'll have to fix it if I deem the photo worth staying. Thanks.

That is hilarious especially with the hearts attached to the mallet. Was the mallet provided by the course officials or did each participant need to provide their own?
I feel compelled to say it looks as tho that there was a problem with your blur layer mask, it looks like you had the edge control set too many pixels out. I'll further say it looks different when viewed from my ipad and than from the desktop so depending on which machine you used to edit it on you might not have known the blur mask wasn't consistent.
