Traveller - thanks. I simply enjoy walking through the desert woodlands, and as I do, I come across these birds. I also have a lot of patience to wait until they are looking the right way, or are in the right tree - and then I fire away. I have a lot of missed shots, but I always get a few worth keeping. A simple pleasure.
Great image and fine color...I have been meaning to compliment you on how well you shoot (song?) birds. The header images for each gallery are just fabulous...you have a talent for this.
