I like the abstract with limited bright colors on a grey background.

Thank goodness....I've getting so much flack over my review (from people that have never seen the movie and never intend to see it either {they hate the movie sight unseen just because I like it and I am known to be stupid!})...I am glad someone else liked it!

And by the way, I also enjoyed La La Land.

I often use photographs to document conditions during a visit to a project site. I define “good photo” as “one that achieves the purpose for which you bothered to take the photo in the first place.” Some may complain, “Bad focus, bad lighting, bad grain, therefore bad photo.” I say your photo does achieve a purpose: it tells a story. Well done!

Dear Paul, you may be correct....they were interesting in his backpack...I thought maybe for a gun, but it could have been stolen items also...but this was 12 midnight, so not much open to steal from...

Or maybe drugs, I thought...

It will remain a mystery....I thought of crossing the street and getting involved, but I did not want to be arrested for interference with an officer in the performance of his duties...

Still, it all seemed strange to me, and when I made it back to my car, (having seen La La Land...Really, really loved it)...I did re-visit this spot on Sunset but everyone was gone.

Hummm

Los Angeles has bicycle speed limits?? Who knew! It would be more natural for me to believe they ran him in because he ripped it off or something. Of course he'll need legal representation for his day in court, maybe one who witnessed and videotaped the entire event. Paul

Well, I do have a clean version....but I was going for the abstract and I think I achieved it.

What I haven't conveyed is that this was the arrest of a speeding bicyclist...they actually put him in cuffs and I found the entire thing to be kind of Los Angeles strange.

The clean version does have this factual, but not this mood.

Also, grainy often looks...to me at least, bad, maybe artificial....this smooth grain seems a step up and interesting.

Best Wishes, Traveller

At first glance I think "huh... that sucks" then I study it further and realize first impressions are not always right. As a abstract it's rather interesting. Happy holidays! Paul
