Fine looking shot Paul.

I stood on a steel bridge to get some shots one night ... until my wife drove up and started yelling at me.
Lots of talk about my mental capacity. But I did get a couple of shots. :D

I just set it up for the slowest shutter speed I could get, used a wired remote and set it to just keep clicking.
Weed through the shots afterwards.

A thunderstorm popped up just SW of my house so I took the camera, tripod and a set of remote triggers out onto my driveway. I will usually hold the shutter open for 2 to 3 seconds, release and shoot again. All pure guess work and luck but with an active cell odds are good you'll get at least something. I generally setup the camera right outside my open garage door and stand just inside so if it starts to rain or if the strikes get too close I can grab the camera and be innside in about 1 second. The wife hates it when I do this and I do mean hate! Paul

Very nice capture. I love shots like this.
My photo friend here in Green Valley has been trying to talk me into getting a lighting detector for my camera. I'm still thinking about it.
