But it is crisp here, in the low 50's at night, 61 this afternoon, not cold for most maybe, but cold(ish) for me. My house still has the 1934 single floor heater and so things can get chilly for me.
I have to love the colors here. Even though we have been warmer than normal for quite a while, the outdoor wild flowers are pretty much gone. Some of the yards still have flowers, though, and should have for a another week or so.
Rub it in why don't you... Just put a little salt on a open wound.... Wink wink of course since it's like 28 degrees here at he moment. Now this might sound a little weird but I'm hoping for a hard winter this year in hopes of killing off those blasted pesky oak mites we've been plagued with for the past two seasons. Paul
